Most of the time, students make mistakes due to the choice of their parents or the student didn’t meet the pre-chosen institution JAMB cut off mark.
NOTE: JAMB change of institution can be done with JAMB change of course. This is possible because the correction JAMB page for both change of course and institution are the same, so note the process are the same. It also requires once payment to make the JAMB data correction.

The total amount to be paid is 2500 (Two Thousand Five Hundred) only. if its done by yourself. The café may add extra charges for their service.
HOW TO DO CHANGE OF COURSE AND INSTITUTION ON JAMB PORTAL
You can also perform the process of changing you JAMB data without visiting a café or an JAMB accredited center. All you need to do is follow the steps below;
- Visit the JAMB portal on a desktop or desktop mode for those using mobile android phones
- Log in to your JAMB profile
- By the menu on the left hand side of the page click “APPLICATION FOR CORRECTION OF DATA”
- There is a drop down menu, click “change of course and institution”
- Fill in your exam year and JAMB registration number correctly
- After that, a payment page will load for you to select the payment method you wish to use
- After a successful payment, the JAMB change of course and institution page will load
- Make the change and re-check for mistakes
- Hit the save button, to save the changes you made
- Print the file out for reference.
HOW TO DO CHANGE OF COURSE AND INSTITUTION IN A CAFE
All you need to do is to wall into the café shop with the requirements listed above and you be helped if you have money.
Mostly it is advisable to to do the JAMB change of course and institution in café just to avoid unnecessary mistakes.
